Notable players that were developed within the organization include Matt Luzunaris of Orlando City and Jozy Altidore of MLS club Toronto FC and the US National Team.

Their proven track record in developing players, including US National Team star Jozy Altidore, speaks for itself. The club is a model organization in the Super Y-League and we are confident they will be an asset to the Southeast Division of the PDL.”
The club was headed by founder Dr. Josef Schulz, recognized as one of the top youth coaches in the Country. Notable players that have been developed within the club included Matt Luzunaris, Hasani Sinclair and CJ Phelps of the U18 US Men’s National Team; Donovan Henry, Zach Herold, and Stefan Jerome of the US U17 Men’s National Team; and US National Team and Toronto FC striker Jozy Altidore. A fusion of the Schultz Academy and the AC Miami was used to create the Floridians F.C. who are very proud to be able to continue the great history of football in the Miami Metropolitan Area and to continue the legacy of excellence of the Schulz Academy.
Arriving with overflowing ambition and excitement the Floridians F.C. yearns to continue and surpass the ambitions of Dr. Joseph Schulz and be the “perfect platform to prepare the top young talent of Southeast Florida combined with the international players that aspire to compete at the highest levels of the game.” It is because we believe in the South Florida talent and Dr. Joseph Schulz’s vision that the Floridians will be selecting an experienced staff, and recruit only the best young talents in the ages of 16-21 with realistic chances to become professional players in the future to be part of our exciting project.
The Floridians F.C. are leaving no stone unturned to bring the best talents to South Florida and establish strong partnership with professional players and clubs around the world.
